The Manhasset SCA wishes to thank the Office Furniture of Long Island company for graciously donating all of the furniture for the Senior Privilege Area (SPA) at the Secondary School, complete with custom-made orange and blue chairs! Plus, when you make a purchase from the Office Furniture of Long Island and mention the Manhasset SCA, 10% of the purchase price will be donated to SCA Project Share, a committee established to help Manhasset students whose families need assistance. Another Wonderful Season of SCA Family Theatre Comes to a Close
"June B. Jones" kicked off the year on December 10 and the season concluded with "The Wizard of Oz" on Saturday, February 4. Both shows delighted our community audiences and the SCA thanks everyone who supported our efforts. A very special thank you to Co-Chairs Randi Berger and Kimberly Pidherny who began their work last Spring and worked tirelessly throughout the season on publicity, ticket sales and overall coordination. Randi and Kimberly would like to thank their committee members: Kathie Panzone, Evie Tsimis, Lisa Zornberg-Horowitz, and Atsuko Okano, who helped bring these shows to life. SCA Family Theatre is excited to begin work on the 2012-2013 season and will be back soon with more information. Thank you again for supporting this wonderful community program.

Volunteers are needed to help make the Book Fair a success! Help assist during the Book Fair and/or join the art committee and transform the library into a luau. No artistic ability is required! Manhasset SCA Summer Studies for MHS Juniors, Details>>

For nearly 40 years, the Manhasset SCA has provided awards to rising Seniors in the form of Summer Studies Awards. This program is for students to participate in a summer enrichment activity between their Junior and Senior years. Summer Studies Awards are not based on financial need or academic excellence. Rather, motivation, sincerity and clarity of purpose will be overriding considerations. Letters were mailed home to all MHS Juniors.
